What colors best for you?

Some of us are lucky enough to work from home and others maybe not so lucky. We all have to spend time in our homes, whether it's in the kitchen or living rom, bedroom or family room.

Did you know that the color of the rooms you are in can affect the way you feel? If you are in your office space you could be feeling alittle blue or aggrevated all because the clolr of your room. Some colors can make a positive impact on your mood. This may be subconcious and you are unaware because it may be your favorite color or you just never gave it much thought. Either way you could be suffering because of it.

Red was used to stimulate the body and mind and to increase circulation.

Yellow was thought to stimulate the nerves and purify the body.

Orange was used to heal the lungs and to increase energy levels.

Blue was believed to soothe illnesses and treat pain.

Indigo shades were thought to alleviate skin problems.


Red invokes alot of emotion usually love, warmth and comfort. Blue can have different affects, like calmness and serenity; but it can also cause emotions of sadness. Yellow is cheerful and warm but can also cause feelings of frustration and anger.

So think about this information when choosing the color for your room, it may change the way you do some of the things in your daily routine.
